Great service. The Asparagus & Swiss Cheese Eggs Benedict was amazing.
My sister and I were able to walk in without a wait on a Sunday. The service was quick, food was hot and coffee was filled at all times. I love when you can see the regulars interact with the staff, it’s special when people come back consistently and they have that level of camaraderie. We both had the classic breakfast with shredded hash browns, sausage and eggs. I asked for the sausages to be butterflied and they did so. One thing that wasn’t super wonderful was one of the servers filling the creamer dish while we were eating. I would have happily passed her the bowl rather than her reaching over the table/food. Otherwise all was great.
This was a great diner style cafe! We came here for brunch to have a meal after hockey. The chicken burger was massive. Coffee was great. It is for kids. They even have a veggie burger!
Really lovely local restaurant atmosphere. Our food was delicious & service wonderful. Judging by the number of people there it is a very popular place. I will go back soon
Food was delicious. Eggs Benedict was made perfectly the way my wife likes them. Jelly yok and solid body. The Reuben sandwich was tasty with the right amount of meat and sauerkraut. The restaurant is a bit dated, but that adds to the charm. Very busy, most tables are a 2-4 seater. They can move tables for bigger parties, but you may have to wait a bit longer to get a table. As a group of two we didn’t have to wait long for a table or our food. TLDR: recommend, but you may have to wait.
Was suggedted to preorder 1hr ahead ordered the Greek salad and cheesy spicy chicken quesadilla, huge portions, very appealing and crunchy experience (wonder if they washed the romaine lettuce) very costly for lunch menu, friendly staff, & very clean restaurant
Great food, terrific service
Fast, friendly service in a clean restaurant. We came for breakfast and were greeted and seated very quickly and coffees came shortly there after. Menu had a good variety to offer and the prices were reasonable (not expensive and a couple good deals). Food was tasty and good portions. The eggs and sausage was good value at 8.50, and the breakfast poutine pictured was good value as well. Pan fries I recommend over the standard shredded hash browns. Overall great breakfast spot and I'd highly recommend.
